The line offers 24 hour access to a team of specially trained pharmacists, nurses and toxicologists so you can get timely advice based on the most current scientific evidence available.

The service targets patients who wish to self-manage their care whether with prescription, non-prescription (Over The Counter) or alternative medicines due to:

• A desire to be accountable for their health
• An unexpected change in their health
• A lack of teaching or clarity or conflicting information on the medications they are using
• An inability to contact their primary care practitioner (physician or pharmacist) on an as needed basis.
